The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is the regulatory authority responsible for overseeing and regulating the securities and commodity derivatives markets in India. Established as a statutory body on 30 January 1992 through the SEBI Act 1992, it operates under the administrative control of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. SEBI's headquarters is located in the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, Maharashtra, with regional offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Ahmedabad. SEBI's primary mandate is to protect the interests of investors in securities, promote the development of the securities market, and regulate the securities market through appropriate measures. The organization works to ensure transparency, fairness, and efficiency in the Indian capital markets while preventing fraudulent and unfair trade practices. Total Vacancies: 3 positions (2 Unreserved, 1 OBC (NCL), and 1 backlog position for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities under the Hearing Handicap (HH) category) Pay Scale: Basic Pay of Rs. 62,500-1,84,900 (in the scale of pay 7th CPC Level - 10). For candidates at the Mumbai Head Office without Company accommodation, the gross emolument would approximately be Rs. 1,84,000 per month including DA, HRA, and CCA as applicable. Employees posted at locations other than Mumbai will get allowances as applicable to the location as per rules. Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) - Engineering (Electrical)
