The Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of India based in Bengaluru, has been established to promote and accelerate innovation across the financial sector. It works on projects ranging from the Unified Lending Interface (ULI) and MuleHunter.ai for detecting mule accounts to pilots in distributed ledger technology, fintech acceleration, and design-led initiatives for underserved groups such as women, small businesses, and self-help groups.
