Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya (IIM-BG) is an autonomous public business school established in 2015, making it the 16th Indian Institute of Management in India. Located in the sacred and historic city of Bodh Gaya, Bihar, the institute is set up under the mentorship of IIM Calcutta, one of the top B-schools and the oldest IIM in the country. IIM Bodh Gaya is spread over a 119-acre permanent campus designed by CP Kukreja Architects, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February 2024. The institute fosters a culture and curriculum aimed at creating socially responsible managers and emotionally mature leaders. With a focus on practical learning through case studies, industry expert sessions, and live projects, IIM Bodh Gaya emphasizes management education that combines academic rigor with real-world application. The institute offers multiple programs including Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), Post Graduate Programme (PGP), and online executive programs. The Chief Minister's Fellowship Scheme (CMFS) is a flagship initiative of the Government of Bihar in partnership with Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya (IIM Bodh Gaya). This prestigious program is designed to attract talented young professionals and post-graduates from Bihar to actively contribute to governance, policy formulation, and implementation. Program Duration: 2 Years The program offers a unique blend of academic rigor and real-world governance experience: - 40 days of campus immersion at IIM Bodh Gaya with an initial three-week intensive training - Two years of practical governance experience through postings in key administrative offices - Fellows are attached to Municipal Corporations, District Collectorates, Divisional Commissioner's Offices, Secretariat Departments, and the Offices of the Development Commissioner, Chief Secretary, Deputy Chief Minister, and Chief Minister's Secretariat Selection Process: State Government reservation rules will be applicable. The program is exclusively for Bihar-domiciled candidates.
