DRDO is the R&D wing of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, with a vision to empower India with cutting-edge defence technologies and a mission to achieve self-reliance in critical defence technologies and systems. Established in 1958, DRDO operates through a network of around 50 laboratories engaged in developing defence technologies across aeronautics, armaments, electronics, combat vehicles, engineering systems, instrumentation, missiles, advanced computing and simulation, special materials, naval systems, life sciences, and other strategic domains. The organization equips the armed forces with state-of-the-art weapon systems and equipment while advancing India's indigenous defence capabilities.

Internship for Engineering/Science UG & PG Students
ClosedScientific Analysis Group (SAG) is a premier Research Laboratory under DRDO, Ministry of Defence. As a part of Internship Scheme introduced by Government of India, SAG invites applications for its paid Internship Scheme (06 Months) in various engineering and science disciplines. This is an excellent opportunity for final year B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc students to gain practical exposure in defence-related research and applications. The internship involves working on cutting-edge defence technologies and research projects. Duration: 6 Months Location: SAG, DRDO, Delhi-110054 Start Date: 01 January 2026 Stipend: Rs. 30,000 (Rs. 15,000 after 3 months + Rs. 15,000 after 6 months)
