DevOps Engineer

India bears one-third of the global oral cancer burden, yet 70% of cases are detected too late for effective treatment. Our mission is to deploy AI-powered screening tools as Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). As a DevOps Engineer, you aren't just managing servers; you are building a resilient, secure, and lightning-fast pipeline that delivers AI diagnostics to the "last mile." Your work ensures that when a health worker captures a suspicious lesion image in a remote PHC, our systems are ready to process, store, and protect that data instantly.

Full Stack Developer

TANUH, an AI Centre of Excellence at IISc, is dedicated to creating scalable, AI-driven solutions for non-communicable diseases. Our flagship project, Aarogya Aarohan, is an award-winning mobile-first, offline-ready tool that empowers frontline healthcare workers to detect early-stage oral cancer in real-time. We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Developer to help us scale this platform to a national level, impacting millions of lives across India. Why This Role Matters: The Indian Context Oral cancer is not just a medical challenge in India; it is a public health crisis. India accounts for nearly one-third of the global oral cancer burden, with approximately 140,000+ new cases diagnosed annually. The Late-Stage Crisis: Due to a lack of awareness and rural healthcare access, nearly 70% of cases in India are detected only at advanced stages (Stage III or IV). The Survival Gap: When detected early (Stage I), the 5-year survival rate is as high as 70–80%. In contrast, for late-stage detection, this drops drastically to less than 37%. Economic Impact: The cost of treating advanced-stage oral cancer is 42% higher than early-stage treatment, often pushing low-income families into a cycle of debt. Your Role: By building the backend infrastructure for the Aarogya Aarohan platform, you are directly enabling a "shift to the left"—moving diagnosis from expensive hospitals to the patient's doorstep via AI-powered screening. You are building the digital backbone that turns a smartphone into a life-saving diagnostic tool.

Product Designer

This is early-stage work where the product designer will shape how healthcare workers, clinicians, and programme administrators interact with AI enabled systems. You will be part of a small, cross-disciplinary team working at the frontier of AI for public good. The experiences designed here could share how AI integrates with public healthcare in India.
