The role is responsible for developing and implementing vertical-specific investment strategies, building and managing specialized teams, identifying and engaging with potential investing partners (SLFMs), overseeing due diligence processes, and managing post-investment portfolio monitoring to ensure value creation and successful exits.

Executive Director of Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). The ED will oversee the implementation of EC/EGoS decisions and manage administrative, financial, legal, and regulatory matters. Key responsibilities include leading robust business management processes for sourcing, screening, assessment, and investment management; establishing comprehensive governance and accountability mechanisms; facilitating strategic partnerships with stakeholders across investment, technology, R&D, and public sectors; and ensuring effective financial management and procurement procedures. The ED reports to the Executive Council of ANRF and will be responsible for safeguarding ANRF's interests in legal proceedings. Desirable Qualifications: Executive leadership experience in tech companies, startups, R&D organizations, alternative investment funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, or multilateral organizations; experience in large-scale investment management, capital deployment, and fund structuring; exposure to public-private partnerships and policy-facing roles; experience in institution-building and operational governance; familiarity with deep tech sectors and emerging technology trends; and representation in national/international platforms for stakeholder engagement. Age Limit: Not more than 60 years at time of application (may be relaxed for exceptional candidates).
