Wadhwani AI is hiring a Program Officer to support the implementation and monitoring of AI-enabled public health programs in collaboration with government and ecosystem partners. Responsibilities
● Collaborate with state leads and provide technical support to NHM in deploying different AI-enabled solutions. ● Maintain regular communication with government officials to ensure smooth project management and timely reporting. ● Contribute to establishing innovative ecosystems for scalable healthcare solutions, ensuring continuity of care. ● Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to assess needs and foster a supportive environment for AI implementation. ● Capacity Building: Conduct and facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance healthcare providers’ skills in AI applications. ● Hands-On Support and Troubleshooting: Provide direct support and troubleshoot challenges during AI usage. ● Coordinate with internal staff and consultants to ensure effective project implementation. ● Willingness to travel within the state or nationally, as required. ● Document project outcomes, successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in any field, complemented by a Master’s in Public Health (MPH), Health Management, or Community Medicine. ● 1-3 years of experience in public health, particularly within government health systems, with a focus on digital health and AI initiatives. ● Deep understanding of ground realities and implementation challenges in areas such as TB, NCDs, IDSP, CPHC, and Quality of Care. ● Prior experience in MNCH and TB–HIV programs is advantageous. ● Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare landscape, particularly the Ayushman Bharat initiative and National Health Mission (NHM) strategies.
