The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) invites applications for the position of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) in the Information Technology Stream. This recruitment is for Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) - 2025 in the Information Technology Stream with a total of 22 vacancies distributed as follows: 9 vacancies for Unreserved (UR) category, 5 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 4 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 2 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 2 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The pay scale for Officer Grade A is ₹62,500 - 3,600 (4) - 76,900 - 4,050 (7) - 105,250 - EB - 4,050 (4) - 121,450 - 4,650 (1) - 126,100. The gross emolument including SEBI's contribution towards NPS, Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, and other allowances is approximately ₹1,84,000/- per month at Mumbai (minimum scale) without accommodation and ₹1,43,000/- per month with accommodation. The selection process consists of three phases: Phase I (Online screening examination on January 10, 2026), Phase II (Online examination on February 21, 2026), and Phase III (Interview). As an Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) in the Information Technology Stream at SEBI, the selected candidate will be responsible for: • Developing and maintaining IT systems and applications for securities market regulation • Managing databases, networks, and IT infrastructure for SEBI operations • Implementing cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive financial data • Analyzing system requirements and designing technical solutions • Supporting digital transformation initiatives in the securities market • Coordinating with various departments for IT-related requirements • Ensuring system reliability, security, and optimal performance • Participating in software development, testing, and deployment activities • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for IT systems • Contributing to IT policy formulation and implementation • Working on data analytics and business intelligence projects • May be posted to any department of SEBI and any location in India

Educational Qualification: • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in any branch; OR • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a post graduate qualification (minimum two years' duration) in computer science/computer application/information technology from a recognized University/Institute. Age Limit: Candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on September 30, 2025 (i.e., must have been born on or after October 01, 1995). Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen candidates.
