We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join the Data Science Lab at the Reserve Bank of India. In this role, you will be responsible for building advanced data science solutions that support critical policy decisions and financial stability initiatives. You will work with both structured and unstructured data, leveraging cutting-edge techniques in Big Data, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics to address complex macroeconomic, financial, and banking challenges. • Build and develop data science solutions as a team member of the Data Science Lab • Handle both structured and unstructured data for big data analytics and machine learning applications • Apply latest techniques in Big Data, Machine Learning, and related fields to analyze novel datasets • Address questions of importance in macroeconomic, finance, banking, and related topics • Use data analytical tools with statistical theories and techniques for forecasting and optimization models • Provide analytical insights to Top Management and departments to support policy formulation • Develop and apply relevant data filters to improve forecasting, nowcasting, surveillance, and early-warning detection abilities • Support critical policy decisions in inflation management, currency management, debt management, reserves management, and banking regulation • Contribute to financial inclusion initiatives, financial market intelligence, and overall financial stability analysis • Create innovative and progressive analytics strategies to solve specific analytic problems • Support specific research objectives as per requirements of Top Management

Essential: Masters in Statistics / Econometrics / Mathematics / Mathematical Statistics / Data Sciences / Finance / Economics; Or BE / B.Tech in Computer Science. Essential: Minimum 4 years of experience of working as a Data scientist, preferably at a financial institution. Age Min - 25 yrs, Max - 40 yrs
