About this role

The NeGD Non-Technical Internship Programme provides students with meaningful exposure to a professional work environment, enabling them to develop essential managerial, analytical, communication, and coordination skills. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals across various functional areas, contributing to ongoing national-level e-Governance initiatives. This hands-on experience enhances academic learning, builds industry-relevant competencies, and prepares interns for future roles in government, corporate, and development sectors. In this role, you will assist in preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), policy analysis documents, and gap analysis reports. You will help maintain and update project status trackers, documentation repositories, track KPIs and milestones, support in drafting weekly/monthly status reports, update dashboards and monitoring tools, and prepare briefs and concept notes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) • Prepare policy analysis documents and gap analysis reports • Maintain and update project status trackers and documentation repositories • Track KPIs, milestones, and project progress • Support in drafting weekly and monthly status reports • Update monitoring dashboards and tools (Excel, Google Sheets) • Prepare briefs and concept notes for stakeholders • Coordinate with team members to ensure documentation accuracy and timeliness • Assist in organizing project files and maintaining version control • Support periodic reporting and audit preparation activities

Requirements

• Students from recognized universities in India with at least 60% marks in last held degree or certificate examination • Completed education under 10+2+3 pattern (15 years of formal education) OR pursuing pre-final/final year of engineering/diploma/integrated degree • Strong analytical and communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks • Familiarity with documentation tools (MS Office, Google Sheets, etc.) is preferred
